Day 01: Arrival at Chennai (Madras)
You will be accorded a traditional by our Indian Holiday team at the Chennai international airport. Thereafter, our representative will facilitate your transfer to a hotel. After a quick check in, relax for the remaining part of the day, bracing for a memorable Great India Tour with Indian Holiday.

Day 02 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram (Mammalapuram)
On day 2 of the Great India Tour, enjoy some sightseeing after breakfast. Visit many interesting places like Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral and a few museums that house an impressive selection of Chola bronzes and stone sculptures from South India and the Deccan. Around afternoon, drive to Mahabalipuram (Mammalapuram).

This ancient city was built in the 7th century and is a World Heritage Site today. It boasts of some very interesting art forms cut out of rocks that draw sculptors from all across the world. Check into a hotel for an overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.

Day 03 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast before embarking on a sightseeing tour that would cover the Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance & Five Rathas. Thereafter, enjoy a drive to Kanchipuram, the city of temples. Return to Mahabalipuram at the day for an overnight stay. 

Day 04 : Mahabalipuram - Tanjore (300 km / 6 hrs)
As part of the Great India Tour with Indian Holiday, undertake a 300 km long road journey to Tanjore. On arrival, embark on a visit to the famous Brihadewswara Temple, also known as the "Big Temple".Built by the Chola kings, this majestic temple is 216 feet high. Overnight stay would be at Kanchipuram.

Day 05 : Departure
On day 5 of the Great India tour, drive to the airport / railway station and continue with your return journey or extend your stay by availing another of the interesting packages offered by Indian Holiday.
