National Science Center in Delhi :
Perched atop a hill on 8 hectares of landscaped grounds, the National Science Centre is located atop a hill in Bukit Kiara on the northwestern fringes of Kuala Lumpur.The National Science Centre was established in 1996 to promote greater understanding and interest in science and technology. It provides an aptly futuristic setting for nine galleries depicting various scientific exhibitions. A fusion of modern architecture with Islamic design, a space theme park at the National Science Center presents a Space Science Show and Sky Movie on a 20m diameter dome screen. It is designed in the shape of a cone with its top removed and the whole structure is covered with a huge geodesic dome.The journey into this futuristic four-storey complex begins with a walk through an overhead tropical freshwater aquarium, followed by the Environmental Odyssey unravelling the threats faced by our tropical environment.It is equipped with an Intelligent Building Automation System and its exhibition gallery occupies two floors with a total area of 6,717.6 square metres. It includes a multimedia library, lecture theatre, multi-purpose hall and cafeteria. Among the fascinating themes featured in the exhibition galleries are an environmental odyssey, pathways to discovery, future world and thinking machines.
Children will find delight in the Children's Exploration Centre. There are also observatory with a 14-inch telescope and viewing gallery with binoculars.

The centre organizes interactive sessions with leading scientist of the country and science picnics for the students (in group). For details check with local authorities
