Birla Planetarium Jaipur :

The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is a lovely city bathed in pink- the color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. The ambling camels and cheerful people in multi-hued costumes make your trip to the pink city a memorable one. The Birla Planetarium is one of the leading landmarks in the city. It is located at the BM Birla Science & Technology Center, near Statue Circle. The Planetarium offers unique audio-visual educational and entertainment with its modern computerized projections system. For school groups concessions are available. The planetarium remains closed on last Wednesday of every month and visiting hours are 12.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs on all other days.

The planetarium helps to enhance knowledge of planets and cosmic functions and movements and on special occasions like on a special day when some rare phenomenon related to stars and planets are about to occur several shows are arranged and concessions are given so as to enable all to come and witness the phenomenon.

Gaitore Chhatris Jaipur :     

Gaitore Chhatris are the cenotaphs on and around the pink city well known for its beauty and artistry. They are situated on the Jaipur-Amber Road. They are the royal cenotaphs of the former Maharajas and are typical Rajasthani architectural structures. They are surely the most magnificent white-marble 'chhatri' that impresses the visitors with its exaggerated carvings depicting peacocks and other delicate patterns belongs to Sawai Jai Singh II. 15 km from Jaipur, Gaitore is the cremation site of the Maharajas of Jaipur, where a cenotaph is erected for each of them in their honor, with the exception of Maharaja Sawai Ishwari Singh, who was cremated outside the Jai Niwas Gardens behind the Chandra Mahal in the City Palace complex.cenotaphs.

It is noticeable that each chhatri exhibits carvings in accordance with the tastes of the person, in whose honor it is costructed. There are 'chhatris' dedicated to Maharanis of Jaipur too in the Maharani Ki Chhatri complex near the Ramgarh road crossing. The cenotaphs are built as a amalgamation of architectural essentials of Islamic tomb architecture and Hindu temple architecture. City Palace, Jaipur :

Hawa Mahal, Jaipur :    

Hawa Mahal is a five storied pyramid like structure with 953 small intricately designed casements, balconies and arched roofs with hanging cornices. The small windows were constructed to circulate air throughout the year and make the palace naturally cool especially in the summer months.The main gate opens into a huge courtyard which has two storied buildings on three sides. The eastern wing of the palace has another three storeys.

Jantar Mantar :    

The Brihat Samrat Yantra Sundia is the most magnificent instrument of the observatory which is about 27 meters high. It helps to calculate local time based on the calculation that its shadow moves up 4 meters every hour.The most popular, Jai Prakash Yantra is a marble hemisphere about 4 meters in diameter. It provides the exact position of the sun and in turn the time.At Jantar Mantar there are 14 gnomes or shadow indicators which are primarily sundials with different functions. 

Jal Mahal : 

Set in the midst of the Man Sagar Lake, the palace is known for its intricate artistry and architecture. The four floors of the building are four floors of the building are permanently under water.
