Jehangir Mahal: The three-storeyed ornate edifice is one of the major tourist attractions in Orchha. Built by Bir Singh Deo to commemorate the visit of Mughal emperor Jahangir, the palace sports superb architectural skill of the time.
Raj Mahal: The rather plain exterior of the stone structure gives way to a rich interior with boldly colorful murals. The palace was built by Madhukar Shah in 17th century.
Rai Parveen Mahal: The low roofed palace was built for Poetess and musician, Rai Parveen, the beautiful paramour of Raja Indramani (1672- 76). Her love for the king has attained mythical status.
Chaturbhuj Temple: The temple is built upon a massive stone platform. The delicately carved exterior is adorned with lotus emblems and other symbols of religious significance.
Laxminarayan Temple: The huge temple displays an interesting synthesis of fort and temple moulds. Fantastic wall paintings adorn the interior of the temple.
Phool Bagh: the beautiful garden speaks for the rich aesthetic sense of the Bundelas. A subterranean structure, which was the summer retreat of the Kings, has an ingenious system of water ventilation.
