Pushkar Bazaar- The colorful and vibrant Pushkar Bazaar is a shopper's delight. One can buy great souvenirs like silver jewelry, embroidered shoes, wall hangings, shoulder bags, embroidered fabrics, decorative items and so on.

Pushkar Fair- The Pushkar Fair is the largest cattle fair in Asia and is held in the month of November during the Kartik Purnima (day of full moon in the Hindu lunar month of Kartik) when hundreds of thousands of pilgrims take a holy dip in the sacred Pushkar Lake. This spectacular event is worth witnessing when the cold November nights are lit up by the lurid campfires and the folk dance and music performances cast a magical spell!

Cattle Fair - The fair ground becomes a crazy mix of camels, cattle, shops, bangles, sweetshops, clothes, potteries as well as men and women in colorful turbans and Ghagras, which turn it to a multihued pallet. Ash smeared sadhus in saffron are a common sight.

The tine village seems to burst at seams with a huge population comprised of buyers, sellers, tricksters, musicians, pandas, priests and tourists during the peak dates of Pushkar Festival.

Warah Temple - The Warah temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (preserver of the world). King Anaji Chauhan built this temple. The temple has an image of lord Vishnu in the incarnation of a wild boar. The legend has it that Lord Vishnu came took the form of a Warah (wild boar) to kill the demon Hirnayaksh.

Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple - The only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, the universe's creator, is housed in Pushkar, Rajasthan. Standing on a high pedestal, this 14th century temple can be reached through marble steps.

Ghats - The holy lake has 52 ghats and pilgrim take a ritual dip in the lake especially during the festival. If one wants to take the dip he has to remove his shoes. The smoking and photography is not allowed here.
