About Caves of Tamil Nadu : In the twenty-six caves the caves and its decorations. The inside decoration of the caves show the abode of monks who spent their time in meditation and yoga. There are wooden poles to support the caves and the thatched roof to save the caves from any natural disaster. The caves are regarded as one of the ancient stone monuments and the ancient Bramhi scripts can still be seen that depicts the culture of education and knowledge. The caves are the seat of Jainism from where Jainism spread in southern part of India.
